Today Braiden was dedicated at the Gridley Nazarene Church. We were joined by family and friends for this very special service.
Some of you may not know about dedication services, so I will explain a little. The service was performed by our pastor and very good friend Joe Proudfoot. We as parents pledged to raise Braiden in a Christian environment, and dedicated him to God. The church also pledged its support to Braiden and us as parents. We were then were prayed over. We believe that when Braiden is old enough to make his own decision, he may decide to accept Jesus as his personal Savior and then be baptized. For us it is important that becoming a Christian is a decision each person makes and is old enough to remember.
How truly blessed and honored we are to have this responsibility of bringing Braiden up in a Christian home.

It was an awe-inspiring sight to see you and Braiden on that stage. But, what brought tears to my eyes was seeing all those who love and have prayed for you throughout your journey. It's amazing to see the support of the family of God. Know that you always have a support system even when things get a little bumpy.

What a great honor it was to be at the dedication of Braiden. We were so proud to see our kids dedicating their son to the lord. That's what it's ALL about. Can't wait to see our granddaughter dedicated also. God has to be pleased. Grandpa/Grandma T (PS thanks Joe, What great friends you and Sarah have been.)
